Hi, i'm scottland dean

I’m a sports photographer from Baltimore, Maryland. I’ve spent the past four years as a student photography intern with Penn State Football.

In addition to football, I've worked with Penn State Athletics, photographing a wide range of Olympic sports, each offering their own learning opportunities

When the season winds down, I stay busy collaborating with professional athletes, covering events, and seizing every opportunity to grow, refine, and expand my craft.

I work to tell a story beyond what can be easily seen through a tv screen. Those quiet, subtle moments where an athlete grounds themselves before a big game. Or the moment of excitement when the team realizes they've won. My work exposes the humanity in teams that often gets lost in the game.
